Episode 8: Samantha Schmitz

Trudy Jacobson Presents: Samantha Schmitz, COO and Mental Health Advocate

Samantha Schmitz is the Chief Operating Officer of Liberty Staffing, and she is well versed in surviving invisible pain both of her own as well as of her family members.  Currently she lives with a degenerative disease, one that plagues her and has her constantly living with the concern of letting others down due to surrendering to her own body’s needs. In addition to her own health, she lost her father to multiple brain injuries he sustained while playing football.

Regardless, Samantha refuses to give in to the pain.  She has taken all of this in stride and has become a voice for the importance of mental health as well as for the importance of listening to your body.  She is the embodiment of a true survivor.
